At the National Human Rights Council of India (NHRCI), we deeply value the trust our donors, volunteers, and CSR partners place in us. Every contribution directly supports programs in education, healthcare, disability aid, human rights advocacy, and environmental sustainability. To ensure transparency and accountability, we have outlined our Refunds and Returns Policy below.
Donations and CSR Contributions
All donations made to NHRCI are voluntary and non-refundable.
CSR funds and contributions are allocated to specific projects (education, healthcare, disability support, tree plantation, advocacy) and cannot be returned once deployed.
Refunds will be considered only in exceptional cases such as duplicate transactions or technical errors in the payment process.
Procedure for Refund Requests
If you believe a transaction has been made in error:
Contact us within 7 working days of the donation/payment.
Provide details such as transaction ID, amount, date, and mode of payment.
Our accounts team will verify the claim and, if valid, initiate the refund.
Refunds will be processed using the same mode of payment within 7–10 business days.
Tax Exemption Receipts
Donations made with valid tax exemption receipts (under Indian Income Tax Act provisions) are non-refundable. Once a receipt has been issued, NHRCI cannot cancel or return the contribution.
Returns Policy (Products/Certificates)
In case NHRCI provides physical items such as acknowledgment certificates, tree plantation certificates, or awareness material:
Damaged or incorrect items may be replaced upon verification.
No monetary refund will be provided in such cases — only replacement.
